The walls of this legendary Hungarian restaurant are lined with caricatures by the restaurant’s favourite political cartoonist and a Gay Hussar regular, Martin Rowson. Now The Gay Hussar is giving its guests a unique opportunity to win a Martin Rowson caricature of their very own.

The winner gets to spend an evening at The Gay Hussar having their portrait drawn by Rowson, followed by a three course menu for two of delicious Hungarian food matched with wines from the restaurant’s wine list. The prize is an amazing opportunity to hear the stories and secrets of the man who has drawn almost every politician of any influence in recent history that you care to name. Martin Rowson’s work appears regularly in The Guardian and The Independent and in 2010, he was voted Political Cartoonist of the Year. He also holds the title of London’s ‘cartoonist laureate’.
